Umusonga ni iki?

Umusonga ni indwara yibasira ibihaha, igatera kubyimba (inflammation) no kuzura amazi cyangwa amashyira mu duce tw’ibihaha twitwa alveoli.

Umusonga ushobora gufata igihaha kimwe cyangwa byombi (iyo byombi byafashwe byitwa “double pneumonia”).

  • Umusonga uterwa n'udukoko twa Bagiteri (bacterial pneumonia) ukunze kuba ukomeye cyane.
  • Umusonga uterwa na Virusi (viral pneumonia) ushobora kwikiza ubwayo.

  • Bacterial pneumonia: irakomeye, ishobora gusaba kujya mu bitaro, ivurwa n’imiti ya antibiotique.
  • Viral pneumonia: isa n'ibicurane bisanzwe (grippe) kandi akenshi irikiza ubwayo, ntikeneye imiti yihariye.

Ubwoko bw'indwara y'Umusonga

1. Umusonga ufatirwa hanze y’ibitaro/kwa muganga (Community-acquired)

Iyi iboneka mu buzima busanzwe. Iterwa na:

  • Bagiteri (nka Streptococcus pneumoniae)
  • Virusi (grippe, COVID-19, RSV)
  • Fungi (kuri bamwe bafite ubudahangarwa buke bw'umubiri)


2. Umusonga ufatirwa mu bitaro/kwa muganga (Hospital-acquired)

Iyi yandura igihe uri mu bitaro, kandi akenshi ikunze kuba ikomeye kubera bagiteri zidapfa guhangarwa n'imiti.


3. Umusonga ufatirwa mu bigo byita ku barwayi igihe kirekire nka za nursing homes, kandi akenshi nayo iterwa n’udukoko twa bagiteri tudapfa guhangarwa n'imiti.


4. Umusonga ufitanye isano n’imashini ifasha umurwayi guhumeka (Ventilator-associated)

Iyi ikunze kubaho ku barwayi bari muri ICU, bahumeka bakoresheje imashini ibafasha guhumeka.


5. Aspiration pneumonia

Iyi ikunze kubaho iyo ibiryo, amazi, amacandwe cyangwa ikindi kintu (igikoma, etc) bijyobye bikajya mu bihaha aho kujya mu nda.
